The nose is fruity, gourmand, precise and offers good definition. We find notes of pulpy wild raspberry, small juicy/pulp red fruits and small notes of racy/iodine minerality associated with touches of fresh liquorice, fresh violet as well as fine hints of bright cherry and a fine saline point in the background. The palate is fruity, balanced, technically precise and offers freshness, a nice silky side of minerality, good definition as well as a fine airy side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, pulpy/juicy cherry and small notes of star anise associated with touches of tangy raspberry as well as hints of tangy small fruits as well as hints of sense of place/terroir and tonka bean. Nice sapid persistence.
