The nose is fruity, elegant, frank and offers minerality, a nice depth, a certain concentration/power, a textured side as well as a fine smoky side. Finesse and intensity in its grain. It reveals notes of fresh/bright wild blackberry, graphite and small notes of small crushed blue fruits associated with touches of small crushed red fruits as well as hints of star anise, lily and licorice. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a lovely silky freshness, minerality, concentration, a lovely texture, smoothness, a fine airy creaminess as well as delicacy in its intensity and density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, small crushed blue fruits, fresh raspberry and slight notes of creamy blackberry associated with touches of crushed purple plum, hints of roasted cherry, fine hints of caramelization, tobacco sweet blond, fresh vanilla, graphite as well as a discreet hint of toasted hazelnut and sap (the sappy side adds peps/energy).
