The nose is fruity and offers a certain power as well as a fine and intense grain. There are notes of bright boysenberry, wild raspberry and slight notes of bright blackcurrant associated with touches of licorice, pepper and spices. The palate is nicely fresh, mineral and offers roundness, smoothness, a certain purity as well as harmony. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, roasted cherry and more slightly violet associated with touches of small crushed berries as well as hints of chocolate, fresh nutmeg and an imperceptible almost sappy hint (in the background). Nice freshness.
