Château La Voûte 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château La Voûte 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity with a certain concentration, elegance, a nice grain and a certain richness. A discreet tight side accompanies notes of crushed blackcurrant, blackberries and more slightly – of ripe and pulpy purple plums associated with touches of blueberries as well as hints of gray pepper and a subtle note of nutmeg, lilac and fresh hazelnuts . The palate is fresh with minerality and balance. It has accuracy, tension, precision and flexibility. There is a lovely finesse of the grain with a tangy structure and notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, juicy fleshy blackcurrant and more slightly small blue fruits associated with touches of bright cherries as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco and blueberries. We perceive a nice complementarity between the clay and the limestone which brings a beautiful harmony and supple freshness.
