Château La Dominique 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé

The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a certain concentration, a nice intensity of finesse, precision, depth as well as deliciousness. It reveals notes of roasted raspberry, roasted cherry and small notes of crushed blueberry associated with touches of violet, crushed small fruits as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, star anise and a discreet hint of chocolate. The palate is fresh, elegant, luscious and offers a lovely energy, a lovely freshness, deliciousness, a little creaminess, depth, complexity, a lovely balance as well as a beautiful minerality which carries. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, crushed blueberry and slight notes of cornflower associated with touches of small roasted fruits, small bright blue fruits as well as hints of star anise, lily, tonka bean as well as ‘with a subtle hint of toasted/chocolate. The tannins offer softness. Good length and nice persistence.
