The nose is fresh, racy with a certain power and a tight grain. We have notes of wild raspberries and small ripe wild red berries and slight notes of violets associated with touches of pulpy and juicy blackberries as well as hints of nutmeg, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of tea. The palate is fruity with freshness and minerality. It has a tangy structure with juiciness and a certain gourmandise, silkiness. We have notes of pulpy and juicy blackcurrant, blackberry and slight notes of violet associated with touches of fairly ripe redcurrants as well as hints of small roasted red fruits as well as a discreet note of nutmeg and spices. The tannins are supple and soft.
