Château Larcis Ducasse 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 1er Grand Cru Classé

Château Larcis Ducasse 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 1er Grand Cru Classé

The pretty nose is elegant, bright, generous, powerful and fresh with straightness and finesse in its grain. We have notes of bright wild blackcurrant, purple plum and more slightly – notes of juicy tart wild cherries combined with touches of spice and sense of place. There is a hint of fresh tea and pepper bringing a nice complexity. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced with precision and a tangy structure. We have a fine electric side, vibrating in the mouth. We have delicacy, elegance, brilliance, pulpiness and a lovely finesse in this power and this richness. We have notes of fresh pulpy blackberries, strawberry and more slightly bright purple plums associated with touches of violet, toasted almond as well as a hint of toast and a subtle note of tonka bean in the background. We also have notes of sense of place. There is a very beautiful imprint and depth of the limestone, a sublime subtlety and freshness in the power, richness and intensity. The lingering finish has chewiness and gourmandise. Beautiful depth in this wine.
