Lovely elegant nose, complex, racy and offers a slight creaminess as well as an airy richness / all in control. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, small creamy black fruits and small notes of wild plum associated with touches of pepper, small roasted wild red berries as well as fine hints of sweet spices and a delicate hint of vanilla pod. Aromatic purity. The palate is balanced, delicious, distinguished and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/fresh structure, good definition, tension, accuracy, harmony, lovely energy, varietal freshness as well as just a nice little side of richness/creaminess but all in freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, creamy black plum and more slightly crushed blackberry associated with touches of small roasted red fruits, chocolate, toasted as well as fine hints of toasted almond and with a fine hint of iris/lily in the background. The tannins are supple. A fine chew on the finish/persistence.
