Nice fruity and textured nose. It offers a graphite side, a fine infusion side, a little creaminess in freshness as well as a nice finesse in its grain. There are notes of fresh wild blackcurrant, lily/lilac, concentrated wild blueberry and slight notes of strawberry associated with touches of camphor, chocolate/tonka bean as well as fine hints of fresh sweet spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, a tangy frame, juiciness, lovely energy, powerful freshness, width/fullness, fat as well as a vibrant side. A superb freshness that carries over. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed redcurrant as well as hints of tonka bean, toasted, a hint of roasting as well as a subtle hint of pepper and cardamom. Pretty good bitterness in the background. The tannins are fresh. A coffee/torrefaction side in the background.
