(70% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot) Nice concentrated nose which offers a saline minerality (in the background) as well as a nice power and finesse of the grain. There are notes of small fresh wild black fruits, crushed strawberry and small notes of almost roasted fresh small fruits associated with fine touches of nutmeg and sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, brightness, a fine straightness as well as a fine and powerful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright/tangy raspberry and small notes of bright blue fruits associated with a touch of sweet blond tobacco, toasted almond, a hint of nutmeg as well as very discreet almost hints of fresh flowers and fresh tea. Lovely freshness and sapidity of the tannins (elegant and ripe).
