The nose is fruity and offers a certain power, intensity as well as a small aromatic complexity. It reveals notes of crushed blackcurrant, pulpy blackberry and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with fine touches of flowers, fresh olive tree/sense of place (local biotop) as well as hints of star anise and a subtle hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, minerality, an acid frame, an aerial side in its minerality as well as a fine electric side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cherry, wild blackcurrant and slight hints of violet associated with fine touches of olive tree/sense of place, dense small black fruits as well as fine hints of spices, a discreet hint of roasting and a subtle hint of pepper. Tannins are supple. Suppleness and aromatic purity. Presence of a very discreet saline hint in the background/persistence.
