Madonna delle Grazie – Liscone 2018 – Aglianico del Vulture DOP

The nose is spicy, finely powdery and offers a fine density/darkness. It expresses notes of boysenberry, cubeb pepper and, more slightly, bergamot, associated with touches of spices, small wild red fruits as well as fine hints of sense of place. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a tangy structure, tension, a certain precision. It expresses the notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, crushed raspberry and, more slightly, pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, combined with touches of volcanic rock, black olive and fine hints of sense of place. A fine hint of balsamic in the background.
