Cantine Astroni – Vigna Astroni 2015, Falanghina – Campi Flegrei DOP

Beautiful, elegant and racy nose that offers an aerial side as well as a nice racy grain. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy mirabelle plum, small crushed yellow fruits and small notes of quince associated with fine touches of dried almond, salinity, discreet hints of sense of place (local biotop) as well as with discreet hints of verbena and salinity. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a mineral structure, a good definition, a certain gourmandize, juiciness, suavity, energy, fat as well as a melodious, smoky and “clean” side in its fat. Finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, pulpy mirabelle plum and small notes of crushed lychee, crushed local apple associated with saline touches as well as hints of acacia flowers and an imperceptible almost rosemary hint in the background. An imperceptible almost tannic hint in the background.
