Core 2019 – Campania IGT

A nice fruity nose, which offers a nice fleshy/pulpy fruit, a certain complexity, density and power. It expresses notes of luscious purple plum, bigarreau cherry and small notes of cornflower, combined with small touches of juniper berries, as well as hints of cherry blossom, star anise, and a discreet hint almost of vanilla flowers and sweet pepper. The mouth is fruity, fresh, elegant, racy and offers a nice definition, a tangy frame, minerality, tension, nice energy, nice freshness and minerality, as well as fine aerial side. It expresses notes of bright bigarreau cherry, small fresh/bright red berries and small notes of juicy blackcurrant, associated with a touch of violet, lily, sage as well as delicate hints of fresh plum and discreet hints of camphor, liquorice stick and a subtle hint almost chocolate very discreet in the background. The tannins are supple and finely mellow. Nice freshness and juiciness.
