Tenuta Sant’Agostino – Attoprimo2020 – Beneventano Rosso Igp

The nose offers a certain concentration, a certain richness, almost a fine creaminess on the nose, gluttony. It expresses notes of creamy blackberry, luscious wild blackcurrant and more lightly – rhubarb associated with touches of violet, liquorice stick as well as creamy, toasted and chocolate hints. The mouth is mineral and offers some fattiness, suavity, some creaminess in minerality, gourmandise. It expresses notes of creamy blackcurrant, bright raspberry and, more slightly, rhubarb associated with touches of balsamic, chocolate and fine hints of liquorice stick. The tannins are relatively polished. A fine hint of coffee and bourbon vanilla in the background. Needs time to digest the wood.
