La Cantina di Tappia – Prunent 2019– Valli Ossolane Nebbiolo Superiore DOC

The nose offers a certain harmony, a fine spicy side as well as a fine and relatively powerful grain. It reveals notes of morello cherry, blackberry and small notes of quite ripe small wild fruits associated with fine hints of pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, minerality, a good definition as well as a certain gourmandize. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberries, tangy redcurrants and small notes of roasted small red fruits associated with touches of cornflowers, licorice stick and a subtle hint of camphor. Tannins are supple. Good length. Freshness and acidity. Good persistence.
