The nose is spicy and slightly peppery. It reveals notes of lily/pistil and small notes of fresh Sichuan pepper associated with touches of small wild red berries as well as a discreet hint of grove. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, sapidity, an iodized side as well as a beautiful electric acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of acidulous cherry and juicy/tangy red berries associated with touches of acidulous plum as well as a hint of star anise, toasted almond and cardamom. Tannins are well-built and gourmands. Presence of a discreet hint of noble varietal. Beautiful freshness and acidity.
