The wine has a lemon-yellow color of medium intensity. The nose offers pure fruit, as well as a fragrant floral bouquet. It expresses notes of fresh crushed golden apple, juicy yellow pear, yellow peach in syrup, pineapple in syrup, mirabelle plum, a touch of melon, lemon jam and bitter orange, as well as iris, lily and acacia honey. On the palate, the wine offers smoothness and sweetness without being heavy, as well as juicy and expressive flavors of exotic fruits in syrup. We find notes of ripe melon, very ripe fresh yellow peach, peach in syrup, pineapple in syrup, lemon jam, candied orange peel, as well as a floral and honeyed notes (iris, rose petals in syrup, flower honey). The finish is quite persistent and offers flavors of fruit in syrup (pineapple, peach) and a spicy hint of ground ginger. The acidity is rather supple, but quite fresh.
