The wine has a pale lemon-yellow color. The nose is fragrant and complex. It expresses subtle spicy notes (cloves, nutmeg, a hint of ginger, a very slight note of crushed vanilla pod in the background), associated with concentrated fruits and notes of ripe lemon, lemon zest, dried lemon, crunchy apricot, white peach, lime juice, as well as a note of peppermint, apple blossom, and fresh hazelnut. On the palate, the wine offers great concentration, depth, elegant roundness and complexity. It expresses spicy and woody notes (vanilla, clove, toasted almond, fresh hazelnut), associated with a rich but refined fruitiness: there are in particular notes of ripe yellow peach, juicy apricot, fresh lemon, lemon jam and lime zest. The finish is long and savoury: it completes the bouquet with floral notes (acacia, orange blossom), minerality (a touch of chalk in the background) and slight notes of brioche. A very good persistence, with a pleasant bitterness, a minerality and a salivating acidity. A fleshy, complex and refined wine.
