Anthony Girard – Domaine La Clef du Récit 2022 – Menetou-Salon

The wine has a pale lemon color with green reflections. The nose is aromatic and offers a nice minerality, associated with a concentrated fruity substance and a fragrant floral bouquet. The wine expresses notes of limestone, gunflint, as well as a slightly iodised touch, associated with notes of fresh citrus fruits (yellow lemon, lemon peel, grapefruit), as well as crunchy and tangy stone fruits (apricot fresh, white peach), dried field flowers, acacia and apple blossom. On the palate, the wine offers a certain roundness on the attack, as well as a nice freshness. It expresses notes of ripe yellow lemon, grapefruit, crunchy fresh apricot, white peach, green apple, apple blossom, dried field flowers, as well as chalky and slightly smoky mineral notes, which we also found on the nose. Good persistence and lively acidity on the finish.
