The nose is spicy, finely tight and restrained: the wine needs to be decanted. We perceive notes of cloves, nutmeg and small notes of wild black berries associated with touches of pepper and a discreet hint of sweet spices and toast. The palate is mineral with freshness and good definition. It has accuracy and tension with notes of pulpy fresh blackberries, violet and slight notes of crushed black berries associated with touches of pulpy and juicy raspberries as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, vanilla and an almost caramelised note in the background. We also perceive mocha. There is roundness, fattiness and some unctuousness in freshness. It is a wine with precision and a certain finesse. There is some sweetness on the lingering finish.
