(Organic) The wine shows a bright ruby colour. The nose is intensely oaky, revealing nuances of sweet spices like vanilla, cloves and cinnamon, supported by notes of ripe and overripe red cherries, raspberries and strawberries, a hint of milk chocolate and cherry liqueur. The palate is dense and powerful, with bold, grippy tannins, intense fruit concentration and elevated alcohol. The wine opens up with notes of overripe red and black berries, sweet baking spices, a touch of tonka beans and a light animalistic hint. A bold and rustic wine that might improve with ageing.
