The wine shows a bright ruby colour. The nose is restrained, opening up with nuances of ripe blackberries and black cherries, complemented by notes of Mediterranean herbs and black pepper. The palate is dense and juicy with good freshness, well-integrated alcohol and grippy but well-managed tannins. The palate reveals nuances of fresh tobacco leaves, a hint of cassis and blackberries, delicate nuances of smoke and sweet spices. Fruity, exuberant finish.
