The wine shows an intense ruby colour. The nose is smoky and oaky, very dense, offering nuances of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of blackberries and forest raspberries. The palate is warming and concentrated, with bold but well-managed, ripe and juicy tannins. The wine opens up with nuances of cedar wood and cigar box, blackberry jam and prunes. Good length. A bold wine with controlled power.
