The wine shows a vivid ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is dense and aromatic, revealing nuances of ripe red and black cherries, crushed bramble and blackberries, pleasant nuances of garrigue and sweet spices. The palate is juicy and opulent with warming alcohol, moderate acidity and fine, smooth, slightly chalky tannins. The palate legs behind the nose in terms of aromatic intensity, showing only a moderate fruit concentration. The wine reveals nuances of ripe blackberries, blueberry pie and black plums with a touch of smoke and black pepper in the echo. A touch of bitterness and astringency on the finish.
