The wine shows a vivid ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is youthful and reductive, needs time to open up. It is dominated by bright notes of blackberries and black pepper. The palate is juicy, with moderate acidity, still some fermentation notes and suave tannins. The wine reveals nuances of crunchy red and black cherries, some bramble and crushed blackberries, a hint of cinnamon and cloves. A simple and juicy wine that needs some more time in the bottle to settle.
