The wine shows a medium ruby-garnet colour. The nose is dense, rustic and powerful, showing nuances of roasted meat, Mediterranean herbs like rosemary and thyme, a hint of dried red cherries and goji berries. The palate is relatively light and elegant, with chalky, fine-grained but very persistent tannins, refreshing acidity and a pronounced bitterness on the finish. The palate mirrors hugely the palate with these rustic notes of roasted meat and a touch of rubber that stays in the aftertaste.
