The wine shows a deep ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is slightly restrained, needs some air to open up. The wine offers profound notes of ripe red cherries, raspberries, with a touch of kirsch and dried goji berries, supported by delicate nuances of sweet spices and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is powerful and full-bodied, with elevated alcohol which is well-integrated into the powerful structure of the wine. The refreshing acidity holds the whole structure together. The wine offers nuances of ripe blackberries and black cherries, notes of sweet spices like cloves and nutmeg. The tannins are bold, slightly astringent and dusty. A touch of bitterness on the finish. A bold and muscular wine!
