The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose reveals complex nuances of ripe blackberries and black cherries, complicated by nuances of sweet spices and dried herbs. The palate is juicy and ample, offering beautiful fruit concentration, bold but ripe and fluid tannins and nice freshness and balance. The wine opens up with juicy notes of fresh and roasted black raspberries, a touch of blackberries and cassis, complicated by floral notes of violets and a hint of sweet spices. A beautifully balanced wine with long ageing potential.
