The wine shows a medium ruby colour with a brightening rim. The nose is muted, will benefit from aeration. It opens up with delicate floral notes of irises and violets. The palate is juicy and intense, with nice fruit concentration, refreshing acidity and smooth, polished tannins. It offers nuances of sweet red and black cherries, hint of blackberries and blueberries, some floral notes of violets and pink pepper. A simple but refreshing and pleasant wine.
