The wine shows a pale ruby colour. The nose is gourmet and intense, revealing nuances of forest raspberries and blueberries, backed up with notes of smoke and sweet spices like cloves and cinnamon. The palate is bright and ample with good fruit concentration supported by a serious load of quality French oak. The wine shows elevated acidity, grippy but well-managed tannins and a good balance. It opens up with notes of spices, black pepper and dried herbs, complemented by juicy nuances of strawberries and red berries. Gourmet and fruity finish. Will age gracefully.
