The nose shows fine power, finesse and precision of grain. There is a very good balance and richness. There are notes of dried wild strawberries and fresh rose petals and more slightly of fresh prunes combined with fine touches of black pepper and fresh tobacco. The palate has minerality, precision and a well-defined structure. There is a certain fatness, precision and a fine airiness. There are notes of ripe raspberries, fresh violet plums, but also of ripe violet plums and more slightly of violet, combined with touches of pink pepper and fine tobacco notes. There is a discreet pastry hint with notes close to caramelisation. It has a patina. Nice freshness. A subtle hint of good bitterness, bay leaf and pepper in the background. Good length.
