The nose is fruity, a little tight with a fine richness and grain. There are notes of fairly ripe red plums, tobacco and, more slightly, balsamic cream combined with delicate touches of tonka bean and a subtle hint of violet. The mineral palate has freshness and a certain juiciness. There is precision and accuracy. With some tension, there are notes of crushed violet plums, crushed cherries and more slightly star anise combined with hints of vanilla bean and fine chocolate and toasted almond. Good length and freshness.
