The nose has notes of fresh balsamic, dried red berries and slightly of cigar, with a discreet hint of saffron and camphor. The palate is fresh, mineral with a fair amount of tension. There is a certain purity in its definition with notes of juicy pulpy cherries, dried raspberries and more slightly fresh truffle combined with hints of saffron, fresh tobacco and a touch of cardamom. The tannins are discreetly marked. There is sapidity.
