The wine shows a pale ruby colour with a garnet rim. The nose reveals savoury notes of black olives, soya sauce and beef jus, nuances of prunes, figs and baked cherries. The palate is elegant and vertical, uplifted by crunchy, juicy acidity, balancing the bold, meaty tannins. A lot of balsamic sapidity on the palate. Very persistent, a bit drying on the finish, but still fruity.
