The nose shows a lot of spiciness and gourmandise, opening up with notes of cedar wood, cocoa, nutmeg, combined with nuances of sweet, ripe strawberries and forest raspberries. The palate is smooth and round, with bold, grippy tannins. The wines shows a lot of fruitiness and sweetness, typical for Cannonau. The powerful structure is balanced by refreshing, balsamic acidity. A savoury, meaty touch on the finish.
