Tempranillo 100%, centuries-old vines. The nose is dense and concentrated, offering ripe notes of blackberries, bramble and black cherries, complicated by nuances of cinnamon, cloves and cocoa. The palate is heady, with elevated, warming alcohol, pronounced sweetness, luscious texture and bold, muscular tannins. The wine reveals notes of figs and coffee, reminding of a good vintage port. A powerful, extravagant style.
