The nose is spicy and oaky nose, offering a plethora of sweet spices like nutmeg, liquorice, cinnamon and cloves. The palate is slightly lactic, with a lot of concentration, elevated, powerful acidity, exuberant notes of red and black cherries, high intensity. At the same time the wine demonstrates certain finesse and elegance, a touch of green, herbaceous notes, sticky, bold tannins. Good ageing potential, needs time, in a closed stage.
