The smoky and reductive nose with aeration opens up with notes of toffee, caramel, a touch of fresh bakery. The palate is lean, dry, a bit austere, some smoky sweetness emerges in the background. The wine is carried through by stimulating, crisp acidity. It reveals a beautiful tension combined with some roundness at the same time, a lot of smokiness, complicated by attractive confectionary notes. Cellar it away and open in a few years!
