The nose is smoky and reductive, after aeration revealing notes of sweet spices, black cherries and a touch of liquorice. The palate is a bit tight, with dense, powerful acidity, sticky, slightly green tannins, needs time to open up. Slightly bitter on the finish, herbaceous notes in the aftertaste.
