The wine shows a typical ruby-garnet colour. On the nose we find nuances of warm underbrush, pine tree, some eucalyptus, as well as nuances of red cherries, rosemary and a light hint of iron. The palate is elegant and aerial but lacks some length and complexity. It reveals notes of dried cherries, some cherry drupe, a touch of almond and savoury herbs. The tannins are drying and a bit coarse. The finish offers some juiciness and finesse.
