The wine shows a medium-deep ruby-garnet colour. The nose is seductive and perfumed, revealing notes of dried rose petals, dried cherries, a touch of sage and rosemary, combined with delicate nuances of iron and some meatiness. The palate is juicy and plush, offering refreshing acidity, a nice purity and chalky, fine-grained tannins. It explodes with notes of dried and fresh red cherries, some red plums, as well as tomato leaf, savoury spices and a nice salinity in the background. The finish is warming and dense with a pleasant spiciness.
