The wine shows a bright, deep ruby purple colour. The nose is dense and concentrated revealing nuances of black currants and blackberries, a touch of crème de cassis and bramble, delicate notes of black pepper and fresh tobacco. The palate is juicy and ripe, offering intense fruit concentration, vibrancy and delicatesse, a lot of gourmandise, elevated, crisp acidity and silky, very polished tannins. The wine is packed with vivid nuances of ripe black berries, cherries and currants, supported by notes of sweet and pungent spices and light leafiness. Long, juicy, slightly drying finish with a light pleasant bitterness.
