The wine shows a bright ruby purple colour. The nose is a bit restrained, will benefit from aeration. It opens up with notes of bramble, blackberries and cassis, a hint of pungent spices and tar. The palate is grippy and tight, with elevated acidity, drying, grippy tannins and a nice freshness. The wine reveals a dark minerality and black berries profile, combined with herbaceous notes of currant leaf and fresh tobacco. Juicy but extremely grippy on the finish.
