The wine shows a pure ruby colour. The nose is rather restrained, needs aeration. It opens up with nuances of red and black cherries, forest raspberries, a floral touch of violets and peonies, a hint of pungent spices. The palate is juicy and vibrant, very gourmet, offering crisp, tangy acidity, elegant structure, supported by bold but polished and well-managed tannins. The wine is filling the palate with notes of juicy, pulpy red cherries, wild strawberries and black raspberries with a delicate herbaceous notes of green pepper and fresh tobacco leaf in the background. Succulent, lingering finish.
