The wine shows a deep ruby purple colour. The nose is dense and concentrated, offering nuances of black cherries, a touch of blackberries, supported by notes of fresh tobacco and bell pepper in the echo. The palate is juicy and vibrant, offering intense fruit concentration, bold and powerful tannins, elevated acidity, a light coffee light bitterness in the background. The wine is packed with dark berries, nuances of tar and thorn, a certain black minerality, a hint of pencil shavings. A lot of astringency on the finish.
