The wine shows a pale ruby colour with a garnet hint and a brightening rim. The nose is dense and smoky, slightly animalistic, revealing nuances of ripe red and black cherries, cooked raspberries, a touch of forest floor and balsamic. The palate is juicy, showing a nice fruit concentration, crunchy acidity and grippy, slightly drying tannins. Notes of sweet red fruits interlace gracefully with spicy nuances of oak and earthy mineral notes. Good length.
