The nose is fruity, fresh and offers some crunch. There are hints of pulpy raspberry, crunchy cherry and more slightly violet combined with fine touches of toast, vanilla and a hint of chocolate. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced, a little tight and offers a juicy/acidic structure, tension and a certain straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, crunchy redcurrant and more slightly violet combined with a touch of blackcurrant as well as fine hints of fresh flowers and a touch of liquorice. The tannins are well managed and mellow. Good length.
