The nose is fruity and offers intensity, a floral edge and some power. There are notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, pulpy wild berries and, to a lesser extent, blueberry, combined with hints of pepper, crushed redcurrants and fine spices and cinnamon. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, sweetness, acidity, roundness and sphericality. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, fresh violet and pulpy/fresh violet plum notes combined with hints of pulpy cherry, liquorice, tonka bean and discreet hints of cardamom and toast. The tannins are precise and finely mellow. Sapidity. There is a hint of tonka bean and a hint of positive bitterness in the background.
