The nose is fruity and discreetly tight. There are notes of blackberry, ripe raspberry and, to a lesser extent, strawberry, combined with subtle touches of violet, tonka bean and a discreet hint of pepper. The palate is mineral, fresh and offers juiciness, a fine creaminess, roundness and smoothness. On the palate, this wine expresses pulpy/creamy blackcurrant, strawberry and more slightly red berry notes combined with hints of chocolate, toasted almond and fine cardamom. The tannins are sapid. Slightly short on the palate.
